Dangerous Household Products for Cats

Cats are known to be fun animals to have around the house, but they have also been known to be the most mischievous. This is because cats have a natural sense of wonder when it comes to exploring new things in the home. A cat’s curiosity is constantly in the need to be intrigued, which is why it is important to keep dangerous household products for cats out of harm’s way.

Many people may not aware, but some of the leading cleaning supplies that are available today are known to be toxic and deadly for a cat. These products, such as the spray and mop chemicals, small quite sweet to a cat, and they will more than likely be tempted to lick the chemicals off of the floor. In doing so, they are ingesting chemicals that will be deadly to them, which results in the break down of their intestinal organs.

Ammonias, bleaches, and other strong chemicals are also dangerous to cats, as they have a heightened sense of smell. The extensive amounts of chemicals that are in the air can cause a burning sensation in the cats lungs, as well as possibly seep into the pads of their feet. Household products that re harmful to a cat should be kept well out of reach for a cat, with the contents locked up into a cabinet that the cat can not get into. Should the cat get into any form of dangerous household products, they should be taken an animal clinic immediately.
