Inflation and any sort of economical problems that affect the country undoubtedly will affect the personal finance of anyone.  As a result, the special toys and things that you use to buy for your cat might not be as accessible as they once were.  This can make any cat owner sad and even desperate when the time comes to replace certain loved toys and there is no opportunity.

Therefore, it will be ideal for you to create your own toys.  Using home made toys just as much as those that you buy at the pet supplies store will allow you to have a proper supply even if you are not allowed to buy as often as you used to those toys and pet supplies that are store bought.

For example, out of an old dust buster and with just a couple of cheap foam balls or even with those that are used in therapy you can make a feathered bouncy ball for your cat.  Small jacks-sized balls are great and all you will have to do is make small puncture holes where the feathers will go.  Simply dip the base side of the feather in glue and sitck it in the punctured hole of the ball.  Let it sit until dry and that is all that it required.

You can also use big balls, but the small sized ones will provide the cat with a better view of the “prey” and will allow you to control the bouncing motion even more, so that you are not risking your china or your television set.

Other alternatives come from the eggs that come out from $0.10 vending machines, these small rounded capsules where children get small tokens and other knick-knacks are great to fill with buttons and glue together, the rattling sound will entice your cat to play.
